Parent-Teacher Organization
Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) provides a vehicle for communication and support among parents, teachers, and students. PTO is a vital support system for our students and staff.
PTO plays a major role in the life of our school community:
- Act as liaisons between parents & teachers.
- Promote school spirit and provide parent support activities with children and staff.
- Provide financial support for the current year's budget through targeted projects.
PTO Meetings & Events
PTO meets every Wednesday from August 24th - October 13th from 7:45 - 9:00 a.m. in the Blue Room. After Octoberfest, PTO meets the first Wednesday of the month. All OLSS parents are welcome to attend meetings.

PTO Fundraising
There are two annual fundraising events sponsored by PTO - the fall Octoberfest and a spring Walkathon.
Each year PTO meets with the Principal to determine its fundraising goals. All PTO funds go towards the school's immediate needs.
For the annual Octoberfest, the PTO members work closely with all OLSS children and teachers to develop projects for auction at the event. Over the years, OLSS children have developed wonderful fine arts projects.
The spring walkathon also involves children and teachers. The walkathon has become an annual tradition that promotes Catholic education in our community. Proceeds from this event go towards the needs of the Diocesan Catholic School Office and the PTO.
PTO's yearly fundraising goals have been met largely through the generosity of our parents, local benefactors and God's providence. We are most grateful to our faith community for their generosity and trust.
