Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) fosters communication among parents, teachers, administration, and students. Through our P.T.O. Board and school volunteers we:

  • Support Communication 
  • Promote School Spirit
  • Fundraise for special projects through special events such as our Fall Sapphire Ball and Spring OLS Bay Fishing Tournament

You can see our PTO Events Calendar for many opportunities to join PTO and serve the OLS Community. We need you! Everyone is invited and welcome to join us and earn family service hours at all of our events!

Please be aware that all volunteers are required to have a background check as per Diocesan regulations. There is a $40 fee (that includes a fingerprint check). Your background check is valid for 5 years.

Anyone handling food items (bake sales, festivals, etc.) is also required to have a Food Handler Certificate as per a City of McAllen ordinance. Please provide a copy of your certificate to the school business office when planing to participate in food handling at a school function.
