PTO Fundraising

The Parent Teacher Organization sponsors two annual fundraising events a fall Gala and a spring Walkathon.

PTO and the Principal meet at the beginning of each year to determine the year's fund raising goals and projects. All funds raised from these fundraisers each year go towards the school's immediate needs.

PTO members work closely with OLSS children to develop all projects to be auctioned during their annual Gala event. OLSS children have developed wonderful projects that have become heirlooms of creative fine arts to be cherished for years to come.

PTO's yearly fundraising goals have been met largely through the generosity of our local benefactors, PTO's diligent efforts and God's providence. We are most grateful to our faith community for their generosity and trust.

Another event sponsored by PTO is the spring Walkathon. All OLSS children participate in this event. The Walkathon has become an annual tradition that promotes Catholic education in our community. Most of the proceeds from this event go towards the support of PTO projects and partial funds go to the needs of the Diocesan Catholic School Office.
