Hey it’s Frankie again! Sorry I have not given you an update but I can give you a good idea what you would probably want to spend your Christmas money on. This is specifically articles for boys so if you are a girl, go to Ellie’s section. But I will give you info on the same stuff for boys: Video Games, Movies, Books, and More! Enjoy!

Video Games

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Mac)

Skyrim is the fifth game in the prolific saga of The Elder Scrolls video games. 

Skyrim is a one-player RPG (role-playing game) where players explore the endless region of Skyrim, fighting thugs, dragons, magicians and other magical beasts and creatures.

You also improve your skills and perks such as Archery, Spells, Sneaking, One-handed, armor, and much much more.

Skyrim is a game that does not have levels, but quests. You can choose to do quests whenever you want and basically can run wild and do anything you want. So basically the game never ends, ensuring hours of endless exploring.

Caution: This game is M rated, but there are options to turn off the language, and blood.

Skyrim was rated 9.25 and given the Game of the Month award by Game Informer magazine. It also recently got game of the year award, plus the Golden Joystick Award.

MInecraft (PC and Mac)

Minecraft is a sandbox game that you can buy for $8.00 at Minecraft.net. 

Minecraft is a sandbox game where you use your imaginations to build things to your heart’s desire. In Minecraft, you build houses, villages, and structures to protect yourself from enemies.

Minecraft is rated E for everyone so all ages welcome. Minecraft is also a game that never stops so again, go nuts.

Books

The Hunger Games

This is a novel written by Suzanne Collins.

The Hunger Games takes place in the Post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Panem is a ruthless capital that rules over 11 different districts. To prove their power, the Capital hosts an annual game called the hunger games where a boy, and a girl, from ages 12-18 must compete in a fight to the death on live television. So when our hero Katniss Everdeen knows that the Hunger Games are coming up, she hopes the odds are ever in her favor.

Heaven is for Real

The True Story of a child’s journey to heaven and back.

This book by Tod Burpo is about his own son, Colton, who had a burst appendix.

While he was in the operating room, he claims to have seen Jesus, and all his decriptions fit the bible perfectly, and he was not able to read yet. Colton, who is now 11 can recall his adventures to heaven and back and his father made a 169 page book about trust in God and how heaven, is for real.

Hey!!! It’s EC and last time I wrote it was only a pic but this time I’m here to tell you all of the latest things, including movies, games, magazines, clothes, and more!

Games

First off there are the games…. Frankie is doing more of the guy games so I’m doing the more games that girls and the family likes.

Just Dance 3 is the newest. Just Dance game is hitting the roofs! I totally recommend it!

Dance Central is just like just dance with a little twist. I don’t love it but if you’re a person that likes dance games I would recommend it!

Like Mario Kart but 10x better! I love this game! One out of ten…. Fifteen!

Movies

Mac

            Mac has many advantages over PCs. Macs are much easier to use compared to PCs. Macs also have much better creative software. People may argue that PCs have more software, but Macs can actually run all that software through special configuration.

Good software for Mac:

• Steam
• Pages
• Minecraft

PC

           PC is used by many more people, and is cheaper. PC is more easily customized and has a large amount of good software. If you are short on money, or want a customizable computer, PC is a viable option.
